In anticipation of the fansub for "Lupin the Third vs Detective Conan", I doodled this little number of Lupin and Conan's love Ran (aka Rachel for those of us that watched the English dub) a few days back.

I don't really know that to say about the background. I wanted something to contrast with the red, green and blue dominating the work. :shrug:

Yeah, "Lupin III vs Detective Conan" was released last month in Japan.
I can't wait til the fansub is finished so I can watch it.

I loved Conan, but still, I'm rooting for my favorite thief. XP Ran/Rachel's father was pretty funny too. I have a bit of the series I collected, but no where near the whole set. ><

I can't wait to get a chance to look at this either.

Great job! I love this and especially Lupin's "innocent" whislting.

Kogoro/Richard is probably my favorite character in the series.
I'm interested in collecting the series myself (after I get Super Punch-Out!!, of course)

Well, Lupin's whistling may be a bit more innocent than it seems, since Ran's a bit too young for our lovable larcenist. (is 17 too young in Japan?)
